Join Native American Student Affairs (NASA) as we honor and celebrate Native American Heritage month with an exciting and memorable kick-off event scheduled Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009 from 6:30pm-8:00pm at the South Ballroom, Student Union Memorial Center.
This year's theme is "ALL OF US TOGETHER" to recognize how when we come together as a community great things can occur and be accomplished. During this kick-off event, it is our pleasure to recognize and honor the 20th anniversary of NASA. NASA was first established in 1989 through advocacy efforts by students, faculty, and community members. NASA has grown to be a central hub for community building for Native Americans and all people at The University of Arizona.
We invite you to join us as we laugh, eat, and cherish the rich and unique cultures of Native American people. Mark your calendars! For more information, you may contact Amanda Tachine by email, atachine@email.arizona.edu or by phone 520-621-3835.
