Hi there.  My name is Anne Jones and I’m a resident of Tucson, Arizona; we moved here from Alexandria, Virginia in 1967 when my Dad was stationed at Ft. Huachuca.  I have three daughters, all graduates of Tucson High Magnet School and all currently in college; two Sun Devils and one at Pima Community College.  My interests include photography, quilting, boating/jet skiing and traveling—mostly around the Southwest.

I’ve worked at The University of Arizona for over thirty years, starting as a student employee in Student Housing (Residence Life).  From there I worked at UMC-OB/GYN, Employee Records, Systems and Budget Control, Academic Programs/Provost Office, the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, and at the Office of the Vice President for Instruction.  I’ve worked in the private sector for an event planning/party rental business in southern California, and for Arizona Crop Improvement Association, a 501C3 non-profit agri-business in Tucson.  My work has included business management and academic support.  In 2010 I completed a course of study and received my license in Arizona as a producer for life/health insurance and investment planning.

I’ve enjoyed meeting and visiting with everyone who stopped by my office, and I look forward to continuing to support American Indian Studies from the front office in Harvill.
